Job Description: Assistant Center Director
Job Title: Assistant Center Director
Reports To: Center Director
Reports To: Mini Miracles and Beyond Learning Academy
Description: Provides quality early education and childcare for children, ages six weeks old- school age. Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice in educational programs for the communities that we service.
Qualifications/Requirements: A successful Assistant Center Director must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and customer service skills, general office and computer skills, maintain a professional attitude and a pleasant demeanor, and have the following education, experience and abilities:
- At least two years of center supervisory
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (child development, special education, elementary education or human service field with 30 ECE credits).
- Have a minimum of an Ohio CPL Level III or higher
- Must meet state background check, education, and licensing
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified or be willing to obtain within 30
- Have a minimum of 3-years of experience in a childcare
- Have a minimum of 1-year Title XX
- Proficient knowledgeable in all SUTQ
- Must be Bilingual. Ability to effectively read, write and communicate the English/Spanish
- This position includes the normal physical demands associated with work in a childcare environment, including lifting, bending and carrying up to
Essential Duties: Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Work with the leadership team to manage the overall operation of the childcare
- Work with the Program Coordinator implementing and overseeing curriculum and curriculum components within the center
- Assist the Director with the operation of the center, ensuring that the center is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
- Providing a safe, healthy, consistent, positive, caring environment to all center
- Be available to work in any classroom at any time based on the needs of the
- Supervise staff, Manage Schedules, assist in staffing
- Develop and maintain rapport children, parents, families, and
- General office administration
- Maintain a high level of center appearance, safety, and
- Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) management, and implementation, ERS
- Overseeing OCCRRA
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the food program (preparation, standards, and implementation). CACFP submittals
- Utilize company Software to manage daily activity of children, families, and
- Assist with any administrative function including timecards and payroll as needed
- Join and bring ideas to the Leadership team, to continuously improve the quality of the
- Continuously seeks development opportunities for yourself in preparation for a future leadership
- Maintenance of staff and child files
- Other duties as assigned by
